Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly creative Associate Interior Designer to join a leading design studio, working across a diverse portfolio of high-end hospitality interior projects. The successful candidate will take ownership of projects from concept through to completion, working closely with senior leadership while managing multiple projects and supporting more junior members of the team.

The role requires a strong creative and technical designer with excellent knowledge of FF&E, materials, finishes, suppliers and bespoke furniture, alongside a strong understanding of sensory and experience-led design. You will lead concept development, space planning, design presentations and client briefings, translating creative ideas into considered and commercially viable schemes.

You will be responsible for managing project programmes, budgets, deadlines and deliverables, while coordinating closely with architects, consultants, contractors, suppliers and procurement teams. Experience across developed design, tender, technical design, construction and post-delivery stages is essential, including reviewing drawings, specifications, joinery, site information and managing RFIs, installations and snagging.

As an Associate, you will also play an important leadership role within the studio, mentoring junior and middleweight designers, overseeing workflow and maintaining high standards of design and project delivery. Strong client management, communication and presentation skills are essential, as is the confidence to represent the studio professionally with clients and external project teams.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about design, proactive, commercially aware and highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. The ideal candidate will combine creative flair with strong technical and project management skills, while bringing a positive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach to the team.

Proficiency in AutoCAD is required, Revit knowledge is highly advantageous.
