Job Description
We are working with a London-based Interior design agency to help find them a freelance IT Support (PC) specialist on a part time (3 days per week), 6 month Fixed term contract. This role is office based but there is an opportunity for some hybrid working.
They are looking for someone with a couple of years IT support experience, who will help support over 130 staff in multiple offices with a mix of Level 1 and Level 2 IT Support.
This role will have a broad focus and includes the following:
• Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software (PC), and network issues.
• Set up and maintain new and existing users, ensuring that all workstations are running the most up to date software.
• Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including desktops, laptops, printers, and network equipment (including cabling, VPN, Firewalls, and WiFi networks).
• Support routine system updates, backups, and security protocols.
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies, research technology solutions, and make recommendations on improvements.
• Help users get the most out of their software throughout the agency, including helping to run workshops and other training programmes.
Applicants must have a solid background in Level 1 & 2 IT Support, have excellent knowledge of Office 365 and Exchange Online and above all be detail-focused, reliable, confident, and have strong communication skills. The salary on offer is between £18k per annum - £21k per annum for this 3 day a week role.
