Job Description
We are representing a reputable, design-led interior architecture and design studio specialising in well-crafted hospitality environments that feel distinctive, considered and authentic to their surroundings. With a strong focus on creativity, collaboration and attention to detail, the team works across projects from initial concept through to completion, translating innovative ideas into highly resolved and memorable spaces.
We are seeking an experienced FF&E Designer with a minimum of 3 years’ experience within high-end interior design, ideally within high-end hospitality, however residential could be considered. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for interior architecture, furniture and product design, alongside an excellent eye for colour, materials, finishes and detailing.
Working closely with the wider design team, they will contribute throughout the project lifecycle, from concept development and design research through to design development, documentation and completion. Responsibilities will include developing creative FF&E schemes, sourcing and researching furniture, lighting, materials and products, producing presentations, drawing packages, specifications and schedules, and helping to ensure the design vision is maintained through each stage of a project.
The role will also involve coordinating with interior designers, clients, operators, consultants, suppliers and contractors, so strong written and verbal communication skills, together with an engaging and diplomatic manner, are essential.
The ideal candidate will be creative and solutions-focused, highly organised and comfortable working to deadlines, with the ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Microsoft Office and Specdesigner is required, along with a genuine desire to develop both technical and creative expertise within the FF&E discipline.
1-2 days WFH.
